Homecoming for 2026 is the next weekend, Saturday 10/24.
Although we missed homecoming, we are planning on getting together the night after our reunion. So anyone interested is welcome to come to the patio at Prospectors at 4 or later on Saturday 10/17.
THIS IS FROM 2016
Friday night starting around 8 pm, October 28thTo welcome out-of-towners and start our festivities early, we thought an informal gathering place might be fun. We verified that Prospectors has no special events that night and they are great at handling large groups. So stop in at the patio bar at Prospectors Steakhouse & Saloon, 3050 Route 38, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
Saturday
10:00 am Homecoming Parade
The Homecoming Parade forms up in the Municipal Parking lot behind the police station. It starts at 10:00 am by entering Washington Street. The route goes left onto High Street by Robins Nest. The review stand is in front of the old historic prison on High Street. The route then continues up High Street and goes right onto Ridgeway Street and on to the school.
11:00 am RV Class of '76 Cleans Up
As a Community Service Project we are planning to do a "Post Parade Clean Up". We'll have team tee shirts and more. Meet up with us in the Municipal Parking lot at the corner of Park Drive and Commerce Street. Once we take care of cleaning up the staging area, we'll go over to the front of the old jail where the review stand will have been.
12:30 pm School Tours
Things have changed! The old "Girls Gym" is now the library. There's a D wing out past the C wing. The old auditorium is still there but the new auditorium is out behind the "shops" where the field hockey field used to be. All this and more! Check it out! Our tour guide will be Lynn Hoyer, an RV staff member. Meet at 12:30 at the back of the school by the glass doors which are next to the cafeteria and B wing (near the old girls 'smoking' bathroom;).

ReplyDeleteTHE TOUR: The tour will be with Lynn Hoyer at 12:30 on the 29th. She will meet us right outside the cafeteria near the glass siding doors. If people park behind the building, they will easily be to find the glass doors. She will be right inside waiting for us.
