Prospectors Friday Night

Getting ready to head over to Prospectors! I saw online that they do have XTU in the other bar (to the right as you enter) tonight. That always means a crowded parking lot. But we're meeting in the patio bar (on the far left when you enter). I'm hoping it's not so crowded there!

If you're looking for parking, try in the back left, sort of behind Walgreen's.
If we don't see you there, see you tomorrow!

8:00pm                 Prospectors Outdoor Patio Bar  – pre-reunion drinks party

                                  Andy & Beth:   bring poster

                           Any committee members available can take turns by the poster to answer questions.

8:30am                 Deliver decorations to reunion venue

                                 Sue & Deb:  bring centerpieces & decorations

10:00am               Homecoming Parade

11:00am               Post parade clean-up (1 hour)

                                Meet at Municipal Parking Lot (corner of Park Drive and Commerce Street)

                                  Oney:  bring T shirts and trash bags,  Deb:  bring gloves

                                   All additional volunteers just show up and help ;)

12:30pm               School Tours – meet Lynn Hoyer at the rear entrance by the cafeteria

                                  Oney:  class representative

2:00pm                 Homecoming Football Game

                                  Sue:  class representative

2:00pm                 Setup team to reunion venue – Candace, Debbie, Beth, others welcome

    Beth:  bring registration info, picture boards, memory board, candles

   cash box, survey cards, 50/50 tickets

  Candace:  bring T shirts, T shirt poster, and nametags

  All together:

·         Set up tables  (12 tables of 8)

·         Tables and chairs for registration, nametags and survey

·         T-shirt table set up (by size) (to be given out as people leave)          

·         Setup picture boards and memory board with candles  

5:30pm                 Setup team to reunion venue  – Beth, Candace, Debbie, Wendy, others welcome

·         Final check on the room

·         DJ arrival and setup, including photo booth and props

·         Review registration process

6:00pm                 Greeter arrives –  Darlene, Homecoming Queen

6:30pm                 40 Year Reunion Dinner  

7:30pm                 Welcome Toast, Beth  - Announce 50/50 tickets on sale, program at 9, give blessing

                                   Wendy:  sell 50/50 tickets

9:00pm                 Evening Program,  Candace

·         Recognize Reunion Committee

·         Announce Awards

·         Draw winner of 50/50

·         Remind everyone to pick up free t-shirt on the way out and

          please feel free to take a centerpiece with you

 

11:00pm               Clean-up / Leave Boards behind

·         Store display boards

·         Store anything left over that is worth keeping

We've posted a list of those coming. Look for the "Attending" tab above. We're still accepting reservations. Send us an email (RVRHS76@gmail.com)  to be included in the headcount and pay at the door. Please let us know by October 21st so you're in the headcount for the caterer.

If you know a classmate whose budget can't accommodate the ticket price, please contact us. We're sure we can do something to help.
